Three Lech Poznań players have been called up ahead of Poland’s upcoming Nations League matches. Bartosz Morzek, Michał Gurgul, and Antoni Kozubal will have a chance to appear in the clashes with Portugal and Scotland.
It’s Mrozek’s third consecutive call-up from Michał Probierz. Last month, the goalkeeper sat on the bench in the matches against Croatia and Portugal. Meanwhile, for Gurgul and Kozubal, it will be their first opportunity to play for the Polish senior national team. During the last international break, the defender wore the captain armband for the U-19 squad in the Euro qualifiers, whereas Kozubal helped the Polish U-21 team advance to next year’s European Championships.
The November games will be Poland’s last Nations League clashes. Currently, the team led by Probierz has four points in their account, which puts them third in the group table. This time, they will face Portugal and Scotland.
