The series of poor performances continues for Lech. On Sunday, the team from Poznań lost to Wisła Płock 0:1 in an away match.
The match in Płock was far from one of Lech’s best performances and it was visible since the opening minutes. The side from Poznań struggled to build goal-scoring opportunities and Filip Szymczak who was covering for injured Mikael Ishak was practically jobless as he received few passes. Lech evidently had no idea how to beat Wisła’s defensive line.
Meanwhile, the hosts seemed to play better and better with every minute, and if it weren’t for Mickey van der Hart’s interventions, they would have scored early on in the match. Eventually, they did – in the 72nd Luka Susnjara, who had just come in a few minutes earlier, found the back of the net.
Lech had 20 minutes to turn the game around but the lack of creativity and precision meant that they failed to do so and Wisła Płock deservedly collected all three league points that were at stake.
