For the first time this year it was Legia that triumphed in the direct clash with Lech Poznan. Moreover, it was the first time since three years that the team from Warsaw managed to beat their opponent at INEA Stadium. See below what the players had to say about the Saturday clash.

KAMIL JÓŹWIAK (LECH'S DEFENDER):Despite out determination and mobilization, we failed to win. The opening minutes were decent, but the conceded goal initiated a collapse. Legia was indisputably the better team and deserved the three points. The second goal has a negative influence on us and our determination in the second half wasn't enough. I believe Legia is one of the best teams in Poland and their matches against us are a show of good football. The team from Warsaw fulfilled their tactics and played better, thus they won. Now we have time to analyse the way we played and find ways to improve for the future. Each one of us is going to 'reset' during the National Teams groupings and I believe that is what we all need.
MICHAŁ PAZDAN (LEGIA'S DEFENDER):We were much closer to a win since the very beginning of the match. The goal we scored wasn't accidental, but well deserved. We were controlling the match from the very first whistle and after the halftime we dominated the play and effectively stopped Lech from scoring. We are continuously trying to improve our play and focus solely on ourselves. The clash was a prestigious match, especially knowing that Lech is a significant opponent. We lost two games against Lech this year and thus we wanted to get our revenge, which we managed to, and that is a reason to rejoice.
ŁUKASZ TRAŁKA (LECH'S MIDFIELDER):Until the moment Legia scored the first goal, the match was balanced. Conceding a goal, especially two of them, is the worst which can happen because it defines the rest of the match. Legia was better in terms of quality of play and goal-scoring opportunities. I have never been in a similar situation as before this match with all the injuries and illnesses plaguing our squad. We played as good as we could. The result hurts, especially considering the great support of the fans. They deserve a big 'thank you'. I do not believe Legia dominated the midfield, although Prijović played really well and controlled the ball impressively. When it comes to the health issues, we couldn't be sure before the match. Adrenaline has a big influence. Now it is time to recover and keep on fighting.
