On 22,560 people supported Lech from the stands during the home matches in the 2021/2022 season. Thank you to everyone for being there for us during this Championship campaign!
“We are grateful for the brilliant support throughout the whole season, for your backing. It’s truly an amazing feeling to win the second Championship title for you. Thank you,” said coach Maciej Skorża during the champions’ parade.
Lech’s home league matches have attracted a total of 383,514 people which gives an average of just over 22 thousand per match. It’s worth mentioning that Bułgarska street saw the highest attendance out of all Polish, top-division venues. It was not only the best attendance of the past campaign, but also the best one since the 2012/23 season (back then, the average crowd had a size of 22,460 fans), and the second-best of the past 12 years.
“When we look at the spring round, in the recent months an average of 28,497 supporters showed up during each match,” explained Daniel Zieliński, Lech’s ticketing manager. “In three matches, we were sold out and the attendance reached a peak of 39-41 thousand supporters. Of course, the number varied depending on the number of tickets designated for the away team and the agreed size of buffer zones,” added Zieliński.
It’s also worth highlighting that in the 9 out of 17 games hosted at Bułgarska street, over 20 thousand supporters came to the stadium which is by far the best score in Ekstraklasa. Out of the top 9 attendances of the recent campaign, 7 were achieved by the Poznań fans.
