Organizational changes in Lech's Academy

In summer organizational and structural changes will be introduced to Lech Poznan Academy. Piotr Sadowski will become the new Managing Director. Sadowski is a sport manager, a graduate of FIFA Masters, as well as an ambassador and coordinator of PZPN scouting network in Great Britain. Krzysztof Chrobak, who has been working for Lech since 2013, will take over the position of the Training Coordinator.

The function of the Director of the Academy will be divided among two people. The Managing Director will be responsible for the administration, logistics, marketing and finances. Moreover, he will overlook the contracts and transfers of players and their training and off-the-pitch development.

The Training Coordinator will oversee the sporting matters. He will be responsible for implementing the program on every schooling level in Lech Poznan. In addition, all prominent coaches (training children and youth) will underlie the Training Coordinator.

"We hope that under the lead of the director and the coordinator, Lech's Academy will no longer be just the best football academy in Poland, but we will also establish a repute on a wider, European scale," says Piotr Rutkowski, vice-chairman of Lech Poznan.

On July 1st Marek Sledz, the current director, will leave the Academy. "He is one of the authors of the youth training project that allowed Lech's Academy to become the best in Poland," says the vice-chairman. "The aims we have set have been achieved. Now we have to face new challenges that require certain changes and a new perspective. We want to thank the director for his work, his passion and commitment to the development of the Academy and we wish him all the best in the future."
