Eighteen Lech Poznań players have been called up for the November international break. Three of them – Bartosz Mrozek, Antoni Kozubal, and Michał Gurgul – will have an opportunity to debut for the Polish senior national team.
Poland is about to play their last Nations League matches. For the third time in a row, Bartosz Mrozek has been called up by Michał Probierz. The young goalkeeper will share the dressing room with two other Lech Poznań players – Antoni Kozubal and Michał Gurgul – who, after a series of great performances, have been recognized by the national team coach. The two youngsters will be joining the senior squad for the first time. Poland is scheduled to face Portugal in an away game and Scotland at home, in Warsaw.
Despite playing just four matches, Iran has built a secure advantage over its opponents in the World Cup qualifiers. Amir Ghalenoei’s squad is the best team in their group and has 6 more points than the United Arab Emirates who are ranked third. Ali Gholizadeh’s team will play against North Korea and Kirgizstan during this upcoming international break.
Finland still has a chance to remain in division B of the Nations League. Markku Kanerva and his players have two crucial matches ahead of them – against Ireland and Greece. Daniel Håkans is once again fit to play after suffering an injury, hence he might appear on the pitch in the next two clashes.
In October, Poland’s U-21 national team won against Kosovo (4:0) and drew against Germany (3:3) which enabled them to qualify for next year’s U-21 European Championship. During this upcoming international break, Adam Majewski’s squad – which includes Filip Szymczak and Maksymilian Pingot – will play a friendly against Iceland in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain.
The Polish U-21 team will also travel to Spain to compete in a friendly tournament. The Poles are going to face England in the semifinals and depending on the other scores, their next opponent will be either Belgium or Germany. Kamil Jakóbczyk and Wojciech Mońka have been called up for the upcoming games.
Sammy Dudek, Patryk Prajsnar, Jakub Falkiewicz, and Eryk Śledziński will also be able to represent Poland internationally. The U-17 squad will play a two-leg friendly against Albania. Meanwhile, their younger teammates - Hubert Janyszka, Hubert Smyrak, Igor Owczarek, Piotr Bartczak, and Franciszek Gadomski – have three games scheduled for the November international break. The Polish U-16 will face South Korea, Denmark, and Morocco.
