The 29-year-old midfielder joined Lech back in July 2021 from Turkish Denizlispor. So far, Murawski made 74 appearances for Lech, scored three goals, and got two assists. In the last campaign, he was also a part of the team council and in a few of the matches, he wore the captain's armband.

“Radosław is staying with us for the next three years. We are very happy about it. The new contract is the continuation of our squad stabilization policy. Ishak, Milić, Kvekveskiri, and Karlstrom already signed new deals, not Radosław extended his one,” explained Lech’s Sporting Director, Tomasz Rząsa. “He is one of the leaders, a key figure in the midfield. During the past two years, not only did he show his football skills and his character, but also his commitment in the dressing room and off the pitch, which make him a very important persona to the squad,” added Rząsa.

The 29-year-old is a homegrown player of Piast Gliwice – that’s where he played as a youth player and on December 8^th, 2012 debuted for the senior team in a top division match against GKS Bełchatowice (3:1). At the age of 23, Murawski moved to Italy. At Palermo, he was a starting line-up player and made 35 appearances in Serie B, and then competed in another 4 matches in Serie A playoffs. The following season, Murawski appeared in 32 games for Palermo. However, because of the club’s issues, the midfielder joined a Turkish club called Denizlispor. He stayed there for the next two years and then moved back to Poland where he won the Polish Championship with Lech Poznań.

Now Murawski has decided to continue writing his story at Lech. “I am glad we reached an agreement and that we get to continue working on this project together. I am happy I will get to play for Lech for the next few years,” said Murawski himself.

“In my opinion, it’s the achievements that best evaluate a player’s stay at a club. The Polish Championship title in 2022, now third place and the Europa Conference League quarterfinals – it’s all very impressive and makes me happy. I am hoping the next three years will be equally fruitful. At Lech, you cannot have a different mentality than being the best, so that is what we strive for every season. I wish I could experience these emotions again. I strongly believe that’s exactly what will happen,” highlighted the player.
