Karlo Muhar is going to spend the remaining part of the season on loan at Kayserispor. The Turkish Süper Lig team – which is currently ranked 17th in their national competition – has the option of a buyout at the end of the 2020/2021 campaign.
On Friday morning, the 25-year-old said goodbye to his teammates and the coaching staff and left Lech’s training camp in Belek. He travelled to Kayseri to undergo medical tests for the local club which is led by Daniel Petrescu, i.e. the former coach of Wisła Cracow. The two sides reached an agreement on a temporary transfer until June 30th, however, Kayserispor has been guaranteed the option of a buyout at the end of the current season.
Muhar joined Lech Poznań in the summer of 2019. In total, he appeared in 45 games out of which 35 were league clashes. He scored one goal for the side from Poznań – against Raków Częstochowa (3:2) – and got three assists. The Croatian received a total of 11 yellow cards throughout the past 1,5 years at Lech.
