MC: Lech Poznań - Dinamo Bucharest 1:3

In the match against Dinamo Bucharest coach Mariusz Rumak decided on the strongest possible squad of players together with Jasmin Buric, who returned to Lech's goal for the first time after his injury and it was the team from Poznan that was far more dominant in the first part of the match. Lech should have taken the lead when Linetty delivered the ball to Ślusarski, who got into one on one situation. However, he didn't manage to get a good control over the ball and was unable to defeat Dinamo's  goalkeeper from an acute angle. 6 minutes later after a long pass from Wołąkiewicz, Ślusarski once again found himself in a clear goal opportunity, but this time he was improperly stopped by Scutaru. Dinamo's defender received only a yellow card, a free-kick from Wołąkiewicz was deflected and slightly missed the goal. Tonev hit the ball after a corner kick, but yet again it missed the goal just by inches.

Wasted situation took a bitter revenge  on Lech in the 14th minute. Curtean executed a corner kick and Dandee defeated Buric by scoring a header. Ślusarski wasted another magnificent goal opportunity in the 21st minute. Tonev started the whole  counterattack by a cross to Linetty. He delivered a precise ball to Ślusarsk, but the striker, with a Dinamo defender pressing on him, sent the ball inches from the post. 3 minutes later Lovrencsics had his best chance to equalize. Tonev sent a deep ball to him. However, despite a terrible mistake of  Scutaru and having a lot of time the Hungarian missed the goal. Dinamo was dangerous mostly in executing set pieces and after a corner kick in the  35th minute could increase the score. Munteanu crossed towards Axent and Lech was saved by an intervention of Ceesay.

At half-time Kolejorz coaching staff did not make any changes, but the Romanians started the second half  much better. In the  47th minute Burić needed to demonstrate his reflexes in order to defend Axent's juicy shot. Dinamo striker tried a few times more and in the  55th minute he finally  entered the score sheet when he decided to shoot from outside of the box. Contrary to Dinamo, Lech had serious problems with constructing offensive play. The substitutions that were made in the 70th minute brought some changes in the game and a chance to make the defeat smaller. Reiss scored a magnificent goal from a free kick giving Dinamo goalie zero chance of defending the shot. Hopes for Kolejorz for a positive outcome of the match vanished  seven minutes later. Curtean with a fantastic volley gave no chances for Buric to save and Lech's goalkeeper had to pull the ball out of the net. After the defeat against Dinamo, Lech will fight for the fifth place in the final standings of the  tournament. In  the next match Lech  Poznań will face another Romanian team- Rapid Bucharest.
