Match against Pogoń postponed
Ekstraklasa S.A., on the request of Lech, made the decision to postpone the Sunday league clash in which the Poznań team was supposed to face Pogoń Szczecin.
“We want to support the Polish clubs competing in Europa League qualifiers in all ways we can. As a result of this decision, the team from Poznań will have more time to prepare for the fourth qualifying round of the European competition,” explained Marcin Animucki, the Board Chairman of Ekstraklasa S.A.
The decision to postpone the clash between Lech and Pogoń was made in agreement with the TV broadcasters. The new date of the match will be announced soon by Ekstraklasa’s Competition Department.
