Juliusz Letniowski has parted ways with Lech Poznań and joined Widzew Łódź on a transfer.
The midfielder spent the last season on loan at Widzew Łódź and the contract with the PKO BP Ekstraklasa newcomers included a buyout clause. Although initially, the club didn’t decide on a transfer, it was clear that the negotiations about Letniowski’s future were in progress. The two clubs sat down to negotiate again, and, in the end, they reached an agreement on the midfielder’s transfer. In the last campaign, the 24-year-old made 17 appearances for Widzew, scored 3 goals, and got 3 assists.
The offensive midfielder joined Lech back in January 2019 from Bytovia. He appeared in 6 games for the senior squad and got one assist. However, he played more regularly for Lech’s second team. In search of more playing time, Juliusz joined Arka Gdynia on loan for the 2020/2021 season and then moved to Widzew Łódź. Now he will return to the top division with the latter club.
