Lech Poznań UAM players are very close to winning promotion to the second division. They have just two games left to play, including a clash with KA 4 resPect Krobia which is scheduled for June 11th, 2:00 pm. The female players are going to play at Bułgarska street. We invite Lech Poznań fans to come and support the team!
Back in autumn, Lech’s female squad had their first opportunity to perform at Bułgarska street. In front of 700 fans, they beat LFA Szczecin 4:1 and finished the autumn round at the top of the league table. “Playing at Bułgarska street was a dream come true for everyone, players and coaching staff alike,” emphasized Zofia Mager, the team’s captain, after the match.
The objective for Saturday afternoon is the same – to win and get Lech’s female players one step closer to winning promotion. The squad needs to collect 4 points in the last two games to achieve the goal. Therefore, the match at Bułgarska street might turn out to be the crucial step in the context of promotion to the second league.
The club encourages supporters to come to the stadium earlier than usual and enjoy a special picnic. For all those who want to support the female squad, they will need to use gate number 29 (stand no. 3) where stewards will hand out free tickets. Since the match won’t classify as a mass event, only 999 fans will be able to support the women's team from the stands.
„The female squad has been performing very well this spring – they’ve been winning by many goals and the only time they lost points was in Stare Obrzyski where they faced the other main candidate for promotion. The fans support in their last match played in Greater Poland will be incredibly important since a win will be a massive step towards advancing to the central level,” explained Lech’s spokesman, Maciej Henszel.
Those fans who won’t be able to make it to the match on Saturday, we invite to watch the match on our YouTube channel – LechTV. The broadcast will kick off 15 minutes prior to the game.
