On Saturday Lech Poznań registered the sixth consecutive victory through 1:0 (1:0) win over Wisła Kraków within 25 Day of Ekstraklasa. Lechs forward Łukasz Teodorczyk, who join the team in the last transfer window, scored his first goal for the club.
Lech was a favorite before the match against Wisła Kraków, although the game was rather close-fought. 15 minutes after the first whistle Tonew had a good opportunity to score an opening goal. Murawski performed a precise pass to Tonew, although shot from young Bulgarian international closely missed the right post. Ten minutes later Kamiński had his chance, again after a good play from Murawski ,who crossed the ball into the penalty area, though result have not change. Wisła had one opportunity to take a lead before the end of the first half when Burliga found himself in the one-on-one situation with Lechs goalkeeper, but a lack of cold blood induced the failure of his action as Lechs defense managed to retrieve the ball. When it seemed that the first half will end without any goals, Gergo Lovrencsics precisely crossed the ball into the box and Teodorczyks headshot found the way into the net.
Goal scored just before the break have not changed the picture of the game in second half. The match was still close-fought, with a difference that Wisłas actions were more dangerous than those in the first 45 minutes. Wisła was especially close to equalise when in 57 minute Sikorski, a forward from Wisła Kraków, performed an individual action moving the ball over Kotorowski, but his shot missed the ball slightly. In last 30 minutes initiative have been overtaken by Wisła, though both teams were unable to create any clear occasions for a goal. Only Glowacki, Wisłas experienced, had a chance to score after a headshot, but the ball missed the crossbar. The result have not change until the end of the match and Lech Poznań could enjoy the sixth consecutive victory.
