Lech Poznań - Widzew Łódź 1:0

The game couldnt have begun worse for the guests team. In the 3rd minute Augustyniak got a red card for a foul on Łukasz Teodorczyk who was about to come on clear position. Having an advance of one player, Lech Poznań started attacking and in the 9th minute they created their first chance. Pawłowskis shot, however, went slightly missing and hit the post. 2 minutes later Teodorczyk used Lovrencsics pass and placed the ball in the net. In the 14th minute it could have been 2:0 already but Hamalainen did not finish the chance created by Możdżeń. 4 minutes later it was Widzews Viskanakovs that was close to scoring however, despite a great individual action, his shot didnt cause problems to Gostomski. In the 28th minute Teodorczyk could have added another goal to his account but he was stopped by the goalkeeper. The guests tried attacking once more in the 33rd minute but Okachis massive shot from outside the penalty area was saved by Gostomski. At halftime Lech Poznań was still winning only by one goal despite another chance that was created by the hosts just before the break when Hamalainens shot went above the post.

As it happened in Gliwice, Lech came back for the second half eager to score the second goal as fast as possible. In 46th minute once again Hamalainen found himself in a great position, however the goalkeeper turned out to be better this time. In the 50th minute Trałkas header hit the post. 4 minutes later Mateusz Możdżeń tried surprising the opponents with a shot but it went above the post. 15 minutes before the finish time Teodorczyk had yet another opportunity but he failed to place the ball in the net. Because of the wasted chances the team from Poznań could have easily lost at least 2 points in the last 4 minutes. The guests had three great goal opportunities just before the finish time. Nowak hit the post, Leimonas shot was saved by Gostomski and when the Lithuanian tried shooting again, he hit the post. Lechs win totally deserved although the last couple of minutes were definitely lucky for the team from Poznań.
