Nicki Bille Nielsen joined the squad of Lech Poznan. On Wednesday the 27 year old Danish player signed a 2,5-year-long contract with the team from Poznan. "A forward was our priority," said Piotr Rutkowski, Lech's vice-chairman.
For the past 6 months Nielsen had been representing Esjeberg. In the 17 matches he played, the footballer scored 5 goals. During his career the Dane also played in Spanish, Italian and French leagues. "We signed a footballer that has priceless experience on international arena and in leagues stronger than the Polish Ekstraklasa," explained the vice-chairman.
Nielsen is going to be one of the two forwards in Lech's squad. "He is meant to be the leader when it comes to the offense and take the responsibility of scoring goals. Nielsen is a very interesting persona who has the potential to become the fans' favorite player. We has good technical skills, he is brave, strong and always involved until the last minute of the match," emphasized Rutkowski.
The 27 year old player signed a 2,5-year long contract with the possibility of extension for another year. In the evening the newest transfer is going to land in Spanish Alhaurin el Grande and join the rest of the squad.
