Lech Poznań - Piast Gliwice 4:0

Time after time Lech visited Piasts penalty area and they could have taken the lead in the 10th minute Lovrencsics sent a cross to Hamalainen but the Finnish player slightly missed with a header. Lechs midfielder 6 minutes later shone with a great pass to Teodorczyk but the latter being one-on-one did not kick the ball clear. In the 21st minute the forward could have made the fans forget about his mistake but after Pawłowskis cross once again he did not find the back of the net. Piast not only wasnt able to cause any trouble to Lech but also their defenders made mistake after mistake and Lovrencsics was the one to take advantage over one of them but he sent the ball next to the post. However, the hosts succeeded 4 minutes later. Pawłowskis first shot was blocked by the defenders but the ball returned to the winger and this time he placed it in the net, allowing his team to end the first half with a humble win.

The beginning of the second half looked totally different than the first 45 minutes. The game became balanced and in the 52nd minute Piast had their chance to equalize. Podgórski sent a great pass into the penalty area but Badia missed with a header. Lech replied 4 minutes later. Pawłowski once again was the one to send a great ball but Teodorczyk shot right in the goalkeeper. In the 71st minute Douglas created a great chance for Arboleda but the latters header flew past the post. A quarter before the finish time Teodorczyk finally managed to place the ball in the net. On the left wing Kownacki won the ball back and passed it along the penalty area to Teodorczyk. The forward had no difficulties beating the goalkeeper. In the 85th minute Lechs goal scorer could have made it 3:0 but his shot was stopped by Szumski. A minute later Pawłowski shone yet once again - he sent a precise shot from outside the penalty area and the ball found the back of the net. The final result was set by Linetty who turned Kownackis great pass into a goal.
