Lech Poznań - Lokomotiw Moskwa 1:3

In the second sparing game of the grouping in Spain Lech Poznań lost with Lokomotiw Moscow 1:3. Roman Pawliuczenko, Arszak Korijan and Mbark Boussoufa scored the goals for the Russian team while Mateusz Możdżeń got one for the Poles.

Lech might not have had been the favorite but nonetheless the first 30 minutes of the game werent dominated but neither of the teams and not many goal chances were created. Only in the 29th minute did the Lokomotiw manage to cause trouble to Lech, instantly taking the lead. Denisow played a long ball to Pawliuczenki and the latter being one-on-one with Kotorowski without much trouble placed the ball in the net. In the 33rd minute Boussoufa sent a cross into the penalty area, the ball found Korijana and the Russian played had no other choice but to make it 2:0. Lokomotiw kept on going and a minute later they were already leading with three goals. Pawliuczenki and Boussoufa played a great action and the latter ended it with a precise shot. Lech did not deserve such a blow but the team from Poznań did not give up and just before the break they started catching up. In the 39th minute Możdżeń placed the ball in the net with a great free kick.

14 substitutions were made by the coaches at halftime but it did not change the flow of the game. Both teams remained fighting for the ball in the midfield, creating little goal opportunities. Only in the 73rd minute did Lech create a chance. Lovrencsics cross from the corner kick found Claasen who should have decreased the loss but instead he did not kick the ball clear. Lokomotiw replied 5 minutes later with a counterattack, however, NDoye sent the ball above the bar. Lech was close to scoring a second goal but neither Kownacki nor Formella used their chance and the match ended with a loss 1:3.
