Lech Poznan drew with Levski Sofia 2:2 in the last sparing game in Belek. Vojo Ubiparip and Darko Jevtic scored for the team from Poznan.
The training staff picked probably the best starting lineup currently. The only one missing was the right back Tomasz Kedziora who is struggling with the ankle problems, and therefore he was replaced by Barry Douglas. The two teams kept the play at high speed. In the 9th minute Lech was already losing 0:1. According to the referee Henriquez pulled one of his rivals by the shirt and that is why Levski Sofia was awarded a penalty, which Domowczijskij converted into a goal. The team from Poznan was willing to equalize as fast as possible and they managed to do so in the 17th minute. Gergo Lovrencsics sent a flat ball to Ubiparip who was waiting outside the penalty area and the latter placed the ball in the net next to the post. Lech was aiming at another goal and Jevtic had an opportunity of his own, however once again the rivals scored first. Domowczijskij added another goal to his account and although firstly he wasted a penalty kick awarded after Douglas' foul, in the 36st minute he did not fail and his header went straight into the back of the net. Just before the halftime the play intensified and toughened. 6 minutes before the break Henriquez received a red card following a second yellow. Nonetheless the two teams agreed to continue the game in full squads despite Henriquez' punishment and Bednarek came in for the Panamanian. Just before halftime Kaminski was brutally fouled and a scramble took place, however luckily the defender did not suffer an injury.
The second half wasn't as exhilarating as the first 45 minutes. Lech dominated, but they did not create too many goal-scoring opportunities. Usually when either of the teams got a chance to shoot, the ball did not fly in the direction of the goal. However, 15 minutes before the end of the match Lech equalized. Pawlowski won over the ball from a defender, dribbled past the goalkeeper and sent the ball to Jevtic, who placed it in the empty net.
