In a match of the 12th round of T-Mobile Football League Lech Poznań lost to Legia Warszawa 1 to 3. Goals were scored by Jakub Kosecki, Jakub Wawrzyniak and Miroslav Radović for Legia. A consolation goal for Lech was scored by Bartosz Ślusarski.
The match started off very well for Lech Poznań, which took initiative just right from the beginning and in the 4th minute had a chance to take the lead. However, Bartosz Ślusarski didn't manage to tackle the pass from Murawski and the ball was calmly caught by opponent's goalie-Kuciak. Legia was to play by counter-attack and as it turned out later it was a sensible tactic. In the 10th minute Jakub Kosecki got to a very deep ball which was served by Jakub Wawrzyniak and in a one on one situation lobbed Lech's goalkeeper Jasmin Buric and scored a goal. Just four minutes later another counter-attack of the opponents ended up in the goal. Legia started by playing the ball on the left side of the pitch which enabled Wawrzyniak to get into the penalty area and using the lack of reaction of defenders put the ball in the back of the net. These two goals left Lech totally slack-jawed. What is more, in the 20th minute Lech could have been losing 3 to 0. Wołąkiewicz committed a huge mistake in redistributing the ball and played it straight to Ljuboja. Luckily, the most effective player in the league missed it by centimeters. After a while the home team managed to shake off the shock and had two goal attempts.
In the 24th minute after an opening pass from Lovrencsics Ślusarski shot against the post and just six minutes later the same player hit the ball over the bar after a good curl in the box from Ceesay. Missed opportunities got their revenge on the home team in the 32nd minute of the game. Radovic got the ball on the left side and accompanied again by a too passive defense play of defenders got into the penalty area, having just Buric in his way, shot at the goal. Lech didn't mean to lay down their arms and in the 37th minute should have scored an opening for them goal. Ceesay worked out a beautifully timed pass however Bartosz Ślusarski again sent the ball over the bar. No more than a minute later Lovrencsics rushed into the penalty area from the right wing but was effectively stopped by Kuciak. Halftime score was 0 to 3.
During halftime coach Rumak made one substitution. Poorly playing that day Lovrencsics was substituted by the Bulgarian player-Tonev. The Bugarian showed his skills just a moment later when he delivered a low ball to Ubirparip though the flat shot was defended by Kuciak. Legia answered a minute later. Heriquez made a mistake in defence and the ball dropped in front of Kosecki. He passed a horizontal ball to Ljuboja but he did it in such a fashion that the Serb wasn't able to score. Time passed and the opponents weakened in their offensive attempts but still had appetites for more goals and a higher win. In the 68th minute after a free kick center from Furman Wawrzyniak missed the goal just by inches. A minute later Kucharczyk used a deep ball from Żyro and found himself in a goal opportunity just against Buric and was stopped. In the 74th minute Lech used Legia's weakness. Linetty passed the ball to Wołąkiewicz by his heel, he centered along the goal and there was Bartosz Ślusarski who put the ball into the net. That was all that Lech could give and it has ended up with the highest defeat against the team from Warsaw at Bułgarska since 1986 when Legia won 4 to 1.
