In the 29th round of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa Lech Poznań crashed Jagiellonia Białystok in a home game 6:1. Hamalainen, Teodorczyk (x3), Kownacki and Lovrencsics got the goals for Lech, while Dani Quintana scored the only goal for Jaga from a penalty.
Lech was a definitive favorite of the game and the players of Kolejorz have been proving so throughout the whole match. In the 3rd minute Hamalainen passed the ball to Teodorczyk, but the forward sent it next to the post. 4 minutes later Lech was leading 1:0. Hamalainen turned Wołąkiewiczs perfect cross into a strong header. The hosts kept on attacking and in the 13th minute the result once again changed. This time it was Możdżeń who sent a cross into the penalty area and Teodorczyk had no problems placing the ball in the net from a close distance. In the 24th minute Lechs most efficient player added another goal to his account. He used Lovrencsics cross and with a header he beat Baran. Jagiellonia had their best chance in the 31st minute when Balaj hit the post. The hosts could have scored even more goals before the break but Pawłowski wasted a chance one-on-one and Kamińskis header stopped on the crossbar.
The coach Piotr Stokowiec made two substitutions after the break but they did not change anything. It was Lech who remained dominating the game. In the 50th minute Lovrencsics created a chance for Arajuuri with a center but the latters header hit the post. 3 minutes later it was 4:0. Lovrencsics sent a ball to Teodorczyk who rushed into the penalty area and with a strong shot placed the ball in the net, completing a hat-trick. In the 73rd minute Możdżeń wasted a great opportunity when his shot was in the last moment blocked by the defenders. Soon after the guests failed when having a great opportunity. Plizga wasted a one-on-one chance against Kotorowski. In the 75th minute Kownacki came in for Linetty and he needed 60 seconds to increase the result. Lovrencsics sent a cross from the right flank, Claasen did not hit the ball clear but it found Kownacki and the youngster placed it in the net. 2 minutes later the star of Kolejorz created a chance for Lovrencsics that the latter used to turn into a goal with a technical shot. A minute before the final whistle Dani Quintana set the result with a penalty; the only goal scored by the guests.
