After the 24th round of PKO BP Ekstraklasa, Lech Poznań still leads in the Pro Junior System classification. Lech’s youth players have scored 7438 points which gives them a comfortable advantage over Pogoń Szczecin who’s ranked second. With just six matches to go, it seems that the team from Poznań is going to triumph in this season’s classification.
Pro Junior System is an initiative of the Polish Football Association which aims to promote young players. The current campaign is the 8th edition of the project. So far, Lech has won Pro Junior System three times and was ranked second four times.

2014/15 – first place, 15212 pts
2015/16 – second place, 9934 pts
2016/17 – first place, 8868 pts
2017/18 – second place, 8594 pts
2018/19 – first place, 11500 pts
2019/20 – second place, 12596 pts
The players are being included in the classification after making an appearance in 5 matches and spending at least 270 minutes on the pitch. At Lech, there are currently three players who meet the classification’s criteria. Jakub Kamiński has the best score this season with 3622 points in his account. Michał Skóraś is ranked second (2424 pts) and Filip Marchwiński third (1392 pts). Most likely, Filip Szymczak is also going to be included in the classification as he has spent 266 minutes on the pitch this season so far.
