Dawid Kurminowski will no longer play for Lech Poznan. MŠK Žilina – a club which the footballer joined on loan a year ago – decided to seal the deal and finalise a definitive transfer.
The 20-year-old joined Lech’s academy from Warta Poznan in 2013. Whilst wearing the blue-and-white shirt, Kurminowski climbed up the youth ladder until in autumn 2017 he joined the senior squad. However, the forward never got to debut in an official match for the first team. In recent years, he competed for the reserves and appeared on the pitch 44 times, scoring 17 goals.
The youngster joined MFK Zemplin Michalovce on loan in winter 2018. Over the 12 months he spent at the Slovakian club, Kurminowski competed in 27 games, scored 7 goals, and got one assist. For the following year, he moved to MŠK Žilina where he represented both the first team, as well as the B team. Whilst playing for the latter, he scored 13 goals and added 4 assists to his account.
In December, MŠK Žilina decided to use the buyout clause included in the contract and signed an agreement with the player and his home club. Lech Poznan would like to thank Kurminowski for all his hard work and wish him all the best in the future.
