Keita won’t return to Poznan
Muhamed Keita will not return to the club from Poznan. The Norwegian footballer is finalising his transfer negotiations in Norway.
The midfielder was recently sent on loan to the Norwegian football club Stabaek. Not only did the footballer score 3 goals in the 11 matches he played for Stabaek, but he also helped the club remain in Norwegian Eliteserien. However, when the loan ended, the club did not want to use the buyout clause included in the contract.
“Keita won’t return to Poznan,” said Piotr Rutkowski, Lech’s vice-chairman. “We know that he is finalising his transfer negotiations which should be over within two weeks.”
Keita has 28 appearances and 3 goals in Lech on his account. In June 2015 he celebrated winning the Polish Championship with the club from Poznan.
