Kamil Jozwiak will spend the spring league round playing for GKS Katowice. On Thursday both clubs reached an agreement about the temporary loan.
In the autumn league round, Jozwiak played in 6 matches for Lech Poznan. In addition, the youngster has 3 Polish Cup appearances on his account and one in the Super Cup. “We have decided to send Kamil on loan because we know that young players need regular appearances. Jan Bednarek is a great example of how temporary loan aids the development of a youngster,” said Piotr Rutkowski, Lech’s vice-chairman.
Jozwiak joined Lech Poznan Academy at the age of 13. Throughout his career in Poznan, he won the Younger Junior Championship and collected a silver medal in the category of Older Juniors. His debut in the senior team took place on February 28th, 2016 against Jagiellonia Bialystok. In July last year, the footballer won the Super Cup together with his senior teammates.
Since joining Lech’s first team, Jozwiak appeared in 24 matches. He scored once and added 2 assists to his account since his debut. “Kamil is a part of the club’s future and we hope that when he returns from the loan he is going to fight his way through to the starting line-up,” said Lech’s vice-chairman.
