The last season was incredibly successful for the 16-year-old. With 13 goals in his account, Jakóbczyk was Lech’s best U-19 striker. The young forward also made a debut in Lech’s B Team and went on to play 10 games in the third division. In 5 of those matches, Jakóbczyk was a part of the starting line-up.
In January, the striker was called up for the first team’s winter training camp in Belek and even made an appearance in Lech’s friendly game against NK Maribor (3:0). Recently, the 16-year-old also received a call-up from Lech’s new coach, Niels Frederiksen, ahead of the pre-season training camp in Wronki.
