In the 24th round of Ekstraklasa Lech Poznań registered another away victory in Białystok against Jagiellonia. The only goal was by Gergo Lovrencsics, who has scored in every four last games.
Before the match with Jagiellonia, Lech knew that winning in Białystok will roll out an opportunity to catch the contact with leading in Ekstraklasa league table Legia. In the early minutes Mariusz Rumaks team asserted its domination. In the 7 minute of the game, after a great action and pass from Murawski, Gergo Lovrencsics has his first good opportunity to score but his shoot missed the target. Another minutes brought a few shoots on target from before the penalty area, made by Murawski, Tonew and Hamalainen eventhough none of them found a way to the goal. Jagiellonia respond after 25 minutes of the game and another minutes have become more aligned. Pazdan, defender of Jagiellonia, performed a good shot by his head after the corner, but the result still remain 0:0. In the next few minutes Lovrencsics was close to open a result of the game with a volley shot after a good croos by Tonew. After that, another action from Jagiellonia was accompanied with unfortunate event - a shot from Grzyb, Jagiellonias player, caused a finger injury of Jasmin Buric, Lechs goalkeeper. Mariusz Rumak had to make a substitution, and Krzysztof Kotorowski entered a game. 44th minute of the game brought a goal for Lech Poznań through precise shot by Lovrencsics after his long run and good dribbling.
The beginning of the second half was much more calm than the start of the first part of the game. Lech slightly moved to the defense but Jagiellonia had no conception to equalize. In 58 minute of the game Ślusarski had an opportunity to score another goal for Lech, but shot by his head missed the goal. Jagiellonia had two chances, in 77. and 90. minute, when Plizga and Kowalski made theirs attemptions with another shot with header, but the result have not changed. This was Lechs 10th away win in a row, and 12th during this season.
