Hertha once again the best

Hertha was the only team who got into the final without a single loss. In the decisive match the German players proved their dominance despite the match with Chelsea keeping the fans on their toes till the end. The team from Berlin seemed to be in control of the game leading 2:0, however, three minutes before the final time the London players scored a goal and they seemed very determined to tie the result. They did not have enough time, however, and it was the German team that at last triumphed in Lech Cup.

Lech Poznań and Villarreal CF were the team fighting for the third place. The Spanish team was leading 3:1 but the very end of the game belonged to the Lech players. The team from Poznań managed to score 4 goals and at last the result was 5:3. Its not easy to recover if youre losing by two goals. Moreover, it was a decisive match and what follows is that the emotions culminated. However, we accomplished that and we are really happy. Third place in such a great tournament is surely our success, said Marcin Salamon, the coach of Lech U-12.

In the match for the fifth place Dinamo Zagreb gave no chance to Manchester United. The Croatian team crashed Manchester 7:2. The seventh place was taken by Feyenoord Rotterdam. The Dutch players in their final game won with Borussia Dortmund 4:2. Olympique Marseille took the one before last place. The French easily won with Galatasaray Istanbul 4:0. The Turkish players lost all their games.
