Filip Wilak returns to Lech Poznań from a 6-month loan at Ruch Chorzów. The homegrown player made 8 appearances in the spring round and got one assist for the team from Silesia.
Lech’s homegrown winger officially joined the first-team squad in the summer of 2023. Wilak made his debut in PKO BP Ekstraklasa slightly earlier, in the season 2022/2023, however, it wasn’t until autumn 2023 that he started making regular appearances on the top-division pitches. In late October, the young player debuted in the starting line-up of the first team - in the round of 32 of the Fortuna Polish Cup, against Zawisza Bydgoszcz – and scored two goals.
At the beginning of 2024, the 20-year-old was loaned to another top-division team – Ruch Chorzów. The youngster quickly made his way into the squad from Silesia – he debuted for Ruch in their first match of 2024. In total, the youngster collected 8 appearances for Ruch throughout the spring round which amounted to 280 minutes spent on the pitch. Wilak also got one assist – in the away clash with Radomiak Radom. Now the homegrown player has been recalled from loan and will join the senior squad in the pre-season preparations under the lead of the new coach, Niels Frederiksen.
