Debutants in numbers
Bartosz Salamon and Jesper Karlström made their official debut for Lech in the recent league clash with Górnik Zabrze (1:1). Both players made a great impression and the numbers are there to prove it.
InStat Index is a coefficient that combines a player’s various match statistics into one number. Considering that the number is generated based on an algorithm, it should be treated with a grain of salt. It is better to analyse each statistic individually in order to get a good picture of the player’s performance in a specific game.
However, it doesn’t change the fact that Salamon’s and Karlström’s numbers were among the best – they were ranked, respectively, ranked second and third. The Polish player received an InStat Index score of 294, and his teammate – 292. Only Thomas Rogne delivered a better performance than the mentioned player according to InStat as he was awarded a score of 340. It has undoubtedly got a lot to do with the fact that the Norwegian centre-back scored an important goal which was worth a point. Nonetheless, Salamon’s and Karlström’s great performance also ought to be recognised as they give the fans a lot to look forward to.
