The current T-Mobile Ekstraklasa season is heading towards the final stage. Lech's players are about to enter the crucial phase of the fight for the championship. The team's collective strength is meant to be the biggest advantage in the upcoming league clashes.
Following the division of points Lech is entering the play-offs from the second position, only a single point short from Legia Warsaw. The league rank might change on Saturday, because that's when Lech will face the team from the capital. Apart from this clash, the team from Poznan will still have to face Jagiellonia Bialystok, Slask Wroclaw, Wisla Cracow, Lechia Gdansk, Pogon Szczecin and Gornik Zabrze. The key to success is supposed to be a strong, balanced team.
"I believe that Lech's biggest advantage in the play-offs will be the collective force. We are a team in which every single player can count on one another. We win together and we lose together. However, I hope that in the upcoming league games we will only be successful," said Dariusz Zuraw, Skorza's assistant.
Moreover, the training staff is hopeful about the players that have been struggling with injuries in the recent months and are still in the process of recovery. Darko Jevtic and Szymon Pawlowski are among this group. "We count on those players. The recent matches have shown that all players are in a good form, and therefore we are optimistic ahead of the play-offs. I believe that this will make us even stronger," added Zuraw.
