Lech’s pre-season schedule has changed. Ivan Djurdjevic’s team will play more friendly matches than originally planned.
The friendly games with Warta Poznan, an Israeli team, Hapoel Beer Sheva, and Cyprian AEK Larnaca have been organized a while ago and remain a part of Lech’s new pre-season schedule. The first two matches will be played in Opalenica, while the last one will take place in Poznan. The dates of the mentioned games haven’t changed either.
Coach Djurdjevic canceled the friendly game that was scheduled for June 27th. During the pre-season camp in Opalenica, Lech’s senior team will play two matches – one on June 23rd, and one a week later, shortly before the team returns to Poznan. The next sparring games will take place after the team returns from the camp and enters the final phase of the pre-season.
Among the games scheduled after Lech’s return from Opalenica is the clash with AEK Larnaca. Two days before the team from Poznan faces the Cyprian rival, they will play against FK Železiarne Podbrezová from Slovakia. The last sparring game is scheduled between the two legs of Europa League first qualifying phase; however, the rival is still to be determined.
June 23rd – Warta Poznań (Opalenica)
June 30th – Hapoel Beer Sheva (Poznań)
July 5th – FK Železiarne Podbrezová (place to be determined)
July 7th – AEK Larnaca (Opalenica)
July 12th – 1st leg of Europa League first qualifying round
July 4th – rival to be determined
July 19th – 2nd leg of Europa League first qualifying round
