Just as most of Lech's supporters were preparing for the Easter breakfast, the players arrived at INEA Stadium. The footballers will be training every day despite the holidays.
Easter filled with football
Rarely do the players get the chance to spend the Easter holidays with their families. Last year the footballers were able to spend the time with their loved ones, however it was because Easter took place during the Nationals Team groupings, and therefore aside of a sparing game with Warta Poznan, the players were given days off. In 2012 and 2013 Lech's footballers only spent the Monday morning with their families, as later on they had to head back to the stadium to travel for league games.
Mission "Błękitni"
On the upcoming Thursday Lech will play the second leg of the semifinals of the Polish Cup. Having lost the first match, Skorza's players are forced to catch up if they want to play in the final. The coach admits that every single training session is important, and therefore the footballers have to work during holidays. "We have put ourselves in this position. I cannot give a day off when so many players are injured and some of them have just finished recovering," explained the coach.
"The win doesn't change anything..."
The win in Belchatow did not change anything. "Our plan remains the same," said the coach. Shortly after he highlighted that Lech hasn't yet played the most important game. "We have to train ahead of what will be waiting for us on Thursday." Lech's players have a training session planned for each day ahead of the second leg of the semifinals. After the game with Blekitni, the team from Poznan will start the preparations for the league match with Korona Kielce.
Wishes for the fans
Even though there are no holidays for Lech, the coach did not forget about the fans and took the opportunity to wish the supporters all the best during the press conference. "[I wish] a lot of faith and optimism. I think that the team can still bring you a lot of joy."
