Paulus Arajuuri, the former player of Kalmar FF, took part in a training session with Lech for the first time. The Finnish defender will officially become the player of the team from Poznań on January 1st, but as the Swedish league has already ended its season, there are no obstacles for Paulus to get to meet his new teammates earlier.
Arajuuri has last played a game back on June 12th. Since then he did not appear on the pitch because of a hip injury. However, hes already recovered and hes been training with his new team normally. On the first glance its easy to see that Paulus is a tall, well-built player but its not enough to be good. Its too early to draw any conclusions. The Finnish player has come here to meet with his new teammates and adapt to the new place. Hell also undergo medical tests for us to determine his individual training plan for the break, said the coach of Lech, Mariusz Rumak.
Paulus will stay in Poznań till Wednesday. On Saturday hell take a seat on the stands to watch his team face Zagłębie Lubin in the 18th round of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa.
