Maciej Smuniewski
In 2013/14 Smuniewski replaced Hojszyk as a supplementation specialist. He is responsible for preparing supplements for the first team players, during the training sessions and the matches.
However, before joining the training staff, Smuniewski used to play football. Even today the coaches ask him to help with the preparation of training exercises. That is when Smuniewski puts on his football puts and takes over the role of a coach.
He used to play for Lech Poznan side which was led by Tomasz Wichniarek (now the manager of the scouts). He also represented Sparta Oborniki, Unia Swarzedz, Warta Poznan and KS Lubon. After leaving the last club, for over a year Smuniewski played for Pelikan Niechanowo.
Since two years Smuniewski has been playing for Lech's amateur football side, K.K.S. Wiara Lech, which is made up of Lech's fans.
