Sousa won’t play against Korona
Lech Poznań midfielder Afonso Sousa received a yellow card in Lech's clash with Śląsk Wrocław (1:3). As a result, the Portuguese player will have to pause in the next league round when his team faces Korona Kielce (April 5th, 8:15 PM).
Before the recent match in Wrocław, the 24-year-old already had three yellow cards in his account, hence, he is forced to miss the upcoming league clash with Korona Kielce. So far this season, Sousa has played in 26 matches, scored 9 goals, and assisted his teammates 6 times. The young midfielder won’t be able to improve his statistics in the upcoming game due to the fourth yellow card.
Sousa has previously received yellow-card warnings in the matches against Cracovia (2:0), Puszcza Niepołomice (0:2), and Górnik Zabrze (1:2).
