In the game of the 18th round of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa Lech Poznan won in Cracow with Wisla 2:1. Tomasz Kedziora and Zaur Sadajew got the goals for the team from Poznan.
The beginning of the game was dynamic, with both teams trying to dominate the game. The hosts were the first ones to attack as the first and they took over the lead immediately. Sadlok won a clash with Formella and sent a center into the penalty area. The ball flew parallel to the goal, but Sarka was waiting on the other side of the penalty area, he shot the ball back and Burliga's shot under the crossbar left Buric helpless. A minute later Formella could have paid back for his mistake when he received a cross from Henriquez, but the young player shot the ball flying above the crossbar from a close distance. Wisla focused on defense of the result and Lech couldn't find a way into the net.
Wisla could have made it 2:0 at the beginning of the second half, but this time it was Stilic who made an attempt at heading the ball into the net and he missed. 5 minutes later Lech scored an equalizer. Linetty found some space in the penalty area and sent a flat cross at the 14th meter where Kedziora was waiting to send the ball flying to the back of the net. In the 57th minute Jevtic had a great chance, but Buchalik intervened successfully. 3 minutes later Wisla had only 10 men on the pitch as Guerrier saw a red card for a brutal foul on Tralka. The guests managed to score a goal in the 73rd minute, but it was disallowed for Sadajew's offside. Both sides had their opportunities to change the result, but at last it was Lech who took over the lead in the 84th minute. Jevtic sent a great long ball to Hamalainen, who instead of shooting played it forward to Sadajew. The latter had no difficulties placing it in the net. Lech did not give up the advantage till the last whistle and the game ended with the guests collecting all three points.
