24 footballers took part in the Monday training session that was held on the training pitches with artificial grass. Moreover, both Gergo Lovrenciscs and Kebba Ceesay joined the rest of the team, having recovered from their injuries and so did Paulus Arajuuri who suffered from an injury in the most recent match against Piast Gliwice.
In addition, 3 youngsters - Adam Makuchowski, Tomasz Dejewski and Kamil Jóźwiak - got a chance to train with the senior team. Maciej Wilusz and Mateusz Lis, having returned from loans joined the group together with the newest transfer - Sisinio. Denis Thomalla was missing on the Monday session since the footballer is currently undergoing medical tests at a German club.
"It was an opening training session. There was a general warm-up, exercises focused on the possession of the ball and also a small match to be played at the end. We did not introduce any tactics since it is the first session. All we wanted to do was let the players play with the ball after the long break," explained Urban's assistant, Kibu Vicuna.
Lech's players with travel to Cyprus on Thursday, but before that happens, two demanding days are awaiting the team. On Tuesday morning the players will undergo blood tests and after that 3 separate groups will have training sessions in the afternoon. On Wednesday in the AZS Hall progressive tests will be held and similarly to Tuesday, the players will train afterwards.
