Tomasz Kedziora is hoping his team manages to win on Friday against Jagiellonia. The defender believes he and his teammates are capable of completing three points. "The points are slipping through our fingers," said the 21 year-old.
In the first two league clashes Lech won merely a single point. The team from Poznan drew with Slask Wroclaw (0:0) and lost against Zaglebie (0:2). "I don't think we played well since we did not win. There are many goal-scoring opportunities, but we just can't seem to use them, which is obviously the key to winning. Moreover, we conceded two goals against Zaglebie and that cannot happen no more if we are to win, especially at home," said the defender.
In the clash with Jagiellonia, the team from Poznan is going to try and end the unfortunate three-match series of lack of wins. The last time that Lech beat Jagiellonia was in March 2015. "Our league is made up of varied teams and each of them is tough. Now when the rivalry is pretty balanced, we cannot keep losing. We have to give it all in every single match. We have the third round ahead of us and the points keep getting away," explained Kedziora.
If coach Urban decides to place Kedziora in the starting lineup on Friday, the right-back is going to face Fiodor Cernych, or Karol Mackiewicz. "Both of them are good, but different in a way. Cernych is better with the ball at his feet. However, I do not think about whom I face and who is a more difficult rival. My only aim is to stop the player in front of me. I prepare to every match in the same way," emphasized the defender.
