The players' post-match commments

While Wisla's players rejoiced after their Saturday win, the footballers from Poznan did not hide their disappointment with the game. Lukasz Tralka, Marcin Kaminski, Karol Linetty and Rafal Boguski each gave a short comment on the league match. Read more below.

Łukasz Trałka

We came here to recover after the match against Basel and win, so that on Wednesday we would face the Swiss team with better moods, and yet it turned out that it only got worse. We have had enough goal attempts to avoid a loss. You do not get 10 perfect chances to score a goal in every match; today we had 3 or 4 of those, but you have to convert them into actual goals. It's not the way the Polish Champion ought to play.

Marcin Kamiński

We have our opportunities, we know how to position ourselves, but in the defense we make very simple mistakes. I don't remember the last time we had lost so many goals in such a manner. It's hard to explain it right now. We [the defense line] have to be more focused; we are the last players on the way to the goal and so we cannot let the rivals create chances to score a goal so easily. Last season we were consequent and we did not concede goals. That's something we have to work on.

Karol Linetty

We have to digest this loss first. We came here to win, but unfortunately we lost a goal early on, and despite having the will to catch up and despite having chances to score, at last we failed. Physically I feel well - I could play even longer, however, the coach decided to make a tactical change.

Rafał Boguski

We played a good game - we fulfilled the plans and we managed to win. The goals make me happy. I would have to check when was the last time that I scored twice, but what really counts is the win. It gives us a few days of rest, but we have to get prepared, because there is another tough match ahead of us. Today's tactic was on point and it brought us three point, but at last it's the coach that has to decide whether this is the way we will play against Legia.
