On Monday the team will leave for the second grouping in Turkey. This time the players will spend 12 days in Belek.
"The hardest part is already behind us. Of course, we will work on strength, but less than during the first grouping and we will focus more on the ball and the tactics. This grouping will be much more pleasant," said Dariusz Formella.
During the camp in Belek the players will compete for the spot in the starting eleven for upcoming league games. Lech will face Pogon Szczecin in an away game on February 14th.
"I'm working hard to be a part of the starting lineup against Pogon. The rivalry in the squad is even more intense because neither of the offensive footballers left in the transfer window. Now it is all up to us and how we perform during the grouping. The rest depends on the coach. We know that he will choose the lineup that will win three points," said the 19 year-old winger.
During the grouping Lech will play four sparing games against Metalist Kharkiv, Anzhi Makhachkala, BATE Borisov and Levski Sofia.
"We will face great rivals. It can only help us become a better team. Even though it is only a sparing game, it's always a great experience. Each minute played against such opponents pays off," said Formella.
