Stjarnan - Lech Poznań 1:0

The players of Mariusz Rumak were forced to play alee and yet it did not stop them from taking over the initiative. However, before Lech started dominating, the guests had their only chance in the first half. In the 2nd minute Finsen tried surprising Burić but the goalkeeper intervened successfully. After that the team from Poznań was the only one to attack. In the 11th minute Lovrencsics had a great opportunity but his shot from a close distance was blocked by Stjarnans defenders. Pawłowski was the most active player on the pitch and he had two good chances within a span of few minutes but in both cases the winger couldnt beat the goalkeeper of the opponents. The team from Poznań dominated without discussion but the ball never found the back of the net and as the minutes passed it became harder for the guests to create any chances.

The second half began in the worst possible way for Lech. In the 48th minute Kamiński and Burić had a terrible misunderstanding that resulted in Toft taking over the ball and placing it in the net. The players of Mariusz Rumak practically scored an own goal, just as they did in Estonia. In the 53rd minute Ubiparip could have equalized but his header was well saved by Jonsson. 7 minutes later Lovrencsics had another great opportunity but yet again the goalkeeper was in the right place at the right time. In the 67th minute the hosts attacked again. Wołąkiewicz stopped Bjorgvinssons run on the right flank but the ball fell by the feet of Finsen. However, the player of Stjarnan did not kick the ball clear. The guests managed to beat the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute. Ubiparip cut Lovrenciscs cross but one of the defenders stopped the ball right on the goal line. Lech remained attacking till the last minute but the game ended with a loss of the Polish team.
