Lech immediately got to work. In the 10th minute, Alan Czerwiński crossed the ball towards Artur Sobiech who let it pass and set up Pedro Tiba with a great scoring opportunity. Unfortunately, the Portuguese midfielder sent the ball flying above the crossbar. However, a few minutes later, Lech did find the back of the next. Dani Ramirez’s shot from outside the box was blocked but Sobiech came in possession of the ball and in a one-on-one situation with the keeper, he effortlessly placed the ball in the goal.

Shortly into the second half, Barry Douglas made the fans celebrate as he converted a free-kick into a beautiful goal. Unfortunately, the referee disallowed the successful attempt since Antonio Milić was positioned too close to the wall. Nonetheless, Douglas found a way to put his name on the goalscorers’ sheet. A few minutes later, he converted Ramirez’s cross into a header that left Skra’s keeper helpless. 5 minutes before the final time, Antoni Kozubal set the score to 3:0 with a follow-up shot. It was the 17-year-old’s first goal for Lech Poznań.

As a result, Lech advanced to the round of 32 of the Fortuna Polish Cup. Lech's next opponent will be revealed during a draw, in the next few days.
