The 29 year-old Spaniard Sisinio González Martínez signed a 6-month contract with Lech Poznan. It is the club's first move in this winter transfer window.
Up till recently the footballer has represented Korean club called Suwon FC. Sisinio left the Asian team after a mutual agreement to end the contract. During his career Sisi represented the likes of Real Valladolid, Recreativo Huelva and Osasuna Pampeluna. The footballer is the first Spaniard to play in the team from Poznan.
The new player was undergoing medical tests since Friday morning. Since all examinations turned positive, the Spanish footballer signed a 6-month contract with Lech with the possibility of extension for another 2 years. 25 is the number that Sisi is going to wear on the back of his shirt while he will be representing the team from Poznan.
"We signed a deal with a player that gathered experience in La Liga and Segunda Division. After the closer observation and analysis of Sisinio's play in the recent years we are sure he is capable of adapting among his teammates and steal the hearts of the fans. He is a fighter always committed to the play and his endurance is an advantage, especially since he is a winger. Moreover, the footballer has great technique, is well trained in terms of tactics and isn't afraid to play one-against-one," explained Piotr Rutkowski, the vice-chairman of the club.
Before Sisi joined Lech, the club decided to end the loan period of its two players and since Monday both Mateusz Lis and Maciej Wilusz will keep on training with the rest of the team from Poznan.
