In the 9th round of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa Lech Poznań won in Gliwice with Piast 2:0. Teodorczyk was the scorer of both goals. It was the first win in an away game for Lech Poznań this season.
Both teams started the game in a careful manner. In the first minutes Piast created a few chances from dead balls but they caused no greater danger for the team from Poznań. Lech, on the other hand, was playing better and better with every minute. The shots of Hamalainen and Lovrencsics were a warning for the hosts despite not creating much trouble to Trela. In the 15th minute the Hungarian sent a great cross into the penalty area and Łukasz Teodorczyk, not marked by any defender, placed the ball in the net with a volley. The one goal lead calmed down the game of Lech and the team from Poznań took total control over the match. In the 18th minute the guests were once again close to scoring but Trela turned out to be faster than Claasen and Lovrencics shot from a long distance on an empty goal went wide. Piast created only one goal opportunity but the shot of Wilczak was blocked. Lech fully deserved to be winning at halftime.
The team from Poznań started the second half with zest. The players of Mariusz Rumak wanted to score the second goal as fast as possible and settle the final result of the match. Teodorczyk and Hamalainen couldnt finish their chances in the first 5 minutes of the second part of the game. In the 53rd minute Lech players finally succeeded. Trela first saved the shot of Teodorczyk, then the shot of Hamalainen, but in case of the third one, he was helpless. Łukasz Teodorczyk set the result to 2:0, giving even more freedom to his team. Piast was robbed out of the ball, with guests in control of the game. It was a surprisingly easy win for Lech Poznań, the first one in an away match this season.
