Adam Nawalka, the former Polish national team manager, signed a contract with Lech Poznan until June 2021. Five new coaches have joined the club’s training staff.
On Sunday evening, Lech Poznan executive board, the Sporting Director and his team met with Adam Nawalka, the former manager of the Polish senior national team.
The 61-year-old’s coaching staff includes Bogdan Zając (assistant coach), Jarosław Tkocz (goalkeeper coach), Remigiusz Rzepka (motor training coordinator), Andrzej Kasprzak (motor training coach), Stanisław Gadziński (motor training coach), Paweł Frelik (mental coach), as well as Łukasz Siwecki, and Hubert Barański (analysts).
On Sunday evening, the coaches had the chance to take a look at the training pitches, the dressing room, gym, and the area designated for the players and their families. After signing the contract, they took part in a photo shoot. Later, coach Nawalka prepared a recording announcing the new signing that was sent out to season ticket holders and LECHICI loyalty program members shortly afterwards.
Hence, all the formalities were taken care of before the coach and his staff began their first workday. On Monday, the coaching team will meet at the stadium at 7:30 am. The first training session is scheduled for the morning hours, then the squad will eat lunch together and take part in a briefing. At 3 pm, the Sporting Director Tomasz Rzasa and coach Nawalka will attend a press conference. In the meantime, the squad will participate in a second training session led by the assistant coaches.
