The hosts began the game well and in the first minute they had a Chance when Ojamaa ended the action with a slightly inaccurate shot. 3 minutes the unmarked Jodłowiec had an opportunity. The midfielder of Legia got the ball after Brzyskis cross but he sent it above the crossbar. Lech was patiently waiting for a counterattack and they got their chance in the 10th minute but Lovrencsics shot was weak and Kuciak had no difficulties intervening. In the 16th minute Pawłowski sent the ball flying above the crossbar with a massive shot from a volley. 5 minutes later Żyro rushed into the opponents penalty area and passed the ball to Radovic but the Serbian player did not use his opportunity. In the 36th minute Pawłowski decided for an individual action. The winger run towards the middle of the pitch and sent the ball in the direction of the goal but his shot was too weak to cause any trouble to Kuciak. A minute later it was 1:0. Jodłowiec found his way through to the penalty area and passed to Radovic who placed the ball in the net easily.

Since the beginning of the second half the guests were the ones in possession of the ball but the domination did not bring much as the shots were either inaccurate or blocked by the defenders. Teodorczyk was the closest to scoring in the 51st minute when his header flew in the direction of the goal but Kuciak had no difficulties saving the shot. In the 62nd minute Pawłowskis shot was a threat to Lechia but once again the goalkeeper was in the right place at the right time. 15 minutes later Linetty sent a long ball to Teo but the forward slightly missed. Legia had their first opportunity of the second half in the 87th minute when Gostomski was forced to stop Ojamaas individual action. The guests with a bit of luck effectively defended their goal till the final whistle and they were the ones to gather the three points.
