Lech to face FK Bodø/Glimt in round of 16
Lech Poznań will play against the Norwegian club FK Bodø/Glimt in the round of 16 of the Europa Conference League. The first leg is scheduled for February 16th (away), and the second match will take place on February 23rd (home).
The Polish Champions defeated Villarreal CF 3:0 on Thursday evening and secured the 2nd position in Group C of the Europa Conference League. This result put them through to the round of 16 with other teams ranked 2nd in their group. In the draw which took place on Monday, Lech could be paired with one of the teams who were ranked third in their Europa League groups, that is FK Bodø/Glimt (Norway), AEK Larnaka (Cyprus), Ludogorets Razgrad (Bulgaria), SC Braga (Portugal), Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldavia), SS Lazio (Italy), Karabach Agdam (Azerbaijan) and Trabzonspor (Turkey).
The draw matched Lech with FK Bodø/Glimt. It was known beforehand that the first leg of the round of 16 would be scheduled for February 16th. Meanwhile, the second match is going to take place a week later, on February 23rd, at Bułgarska Street.
