Lech Poznan won its last sparing match of the pre-season. This time the team from Poznan beat Zaglebie Lubin 3:0. Nicki Bille, Maciej Gajos and Kamil Jozwiak scored the goals for Lech.
Despite Lech dominating the opening minutes, Zaglebie was the first one to build a good goal-scoring opportunity. Siemiaszko found space, but his shot didn't surprise Putnocky. 5 minutes later Lech converted its offensive action into a goal. Pawlowski gave the ball to Bille and the forward placed the ball in the net with a shot by the far post.
Urban's players seemed in control over the play and succeeded in keeping its penalty area clear of threats. Meanwhile, on the other end of the pitch Bille had another chance to score, but the goalkeeper managed to stop the ball from passing the goal line. Shortly afterwards the Dane found some space again, but this time his attempt wasn't on target.
In the 35th minute Lech counterattacked. Bille passed the ball to Pawlowski, the latter noticed Gajos and sent him a good pass that the winger managed to convert into a precise, flat shot past the goalkeeper. The midfielder had another goal-scoring opportunity minutes after, but this time his attempt wasn't on target and the ball rolled next to the post.
The second half did not differ match from the first part despite 6 changes in Lech's squad. Shortly after the referee resumed the play, Gajos sent a fine pass to Majewski who was left unmarked, but the new transfer failed to beat the goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Zyra got a chance to score a goal for his team too, but his attempt was stopped by the goalkeeper.
Lech's players were full of energy and motivated, constantly searching for a way to place the ball in the net through offensive team plays. Some of the actions were finished off with shots, but neither attempt was successful. Once in a while Zaglebie attacked too and forced Putnocky to intervene, but the team from Lubin wasn’t any more efficient.
In the 80th minute the team from Poznan scored the third and final goal. Jozwiak sent the ball to Robak who rushed into the penalty area in between two defenders. The forward played a well-timed pass back to Jozwiak, who converted the action into a goal. Lech had a couple more opportunities to score, but the score remained unchanged until the final whistle.
