Lech Poznan - Zaglebie Lubin 2:0

Lech collected three league points yet again. The win with Zaglebie Lubin (2:0) pushed Lech up to the fifth rank.

Lech's attacks began early in the opening minutes. The hosts remained in possession of the ball most of the time. In the 10th minute Linetty got himself a chance to score, but the shot he fired flew above the crossbar. Hamalainen was more efficient and 6 minutes later he used the error of Zaglebie's defense for his own advantage and sent a volley near the post and into the net.

Lech decreases the tempo of the play and could have been punished for that. Janoszka tried shooting from outside the penalty area, but his attempt was successfully stopped by Buric who's been focused on keeping the sheet clean for another consecutive game. On the other end of the pitch Pawlowski dribbled around the defense, or tried building a goal-scoring opportunity with Kedziora, but in both cases the result wasnt what the winger wanted.

The Polish Champions kept on pressing in the second half too. 3 minutes after resuming the game Linetty came close to scoring after an exchange of passes with Hamalainen, while in the 64th minute the Finnish player got himself an assist when Pawlowski converted his pass into second goal. The winger had another chance shortly afterwards, but this time the goalkeeper stopped his shot successfully. Meanwhile, Zaglebie Lubin remained determined to catch up. Wozniak sent multiple good crosses from the right flank into the penalty area, but his teammates failed to redirect the passes into the net. It was either Lech's goalkeeper or inaccuracy that had them fail. Thus when the referee whistled for the last time on the Sunday evening, the scoreboard showed a two-goal win for Lech.
