In the game of the 20th round of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa Lech Poznań won with Wisła Cracow 2:0. Luis Henriquez and Gergo Lovrencsics got the goals for Lech.
The players had to compete in harsh weather conditions. With every minute more snow fell and soon the pitch was covered with white layer. And actually it was snow who was the hero of the first half. Both teams struggled to play their football and create chances so there wasnt much going on. The hosts were the ones to lead the game and that resulted in more dead balls near the penalty area of their opponents. One of them was dangerous enough that Lech was close to scoring a goal. In the 39th minute Douglas sent a cross and the ball found Arboleda but his header hit the post. The team from Poznań created one more chance just before the break when Teodorczyk also tried surprising his rivals with a header but this time the goalkeeper was there to save his team. The result at halftime remained a goalless draw.
Since the begining of the second half Lech was still the more active team. The hosts were very determined to score a goal and in the 56th minute they succeeded. Hamalainen sent a great ball into the penalty area to Henriquez and the Panamanian with a technical shot placed the ball in the net. Coach Smuda made three substitutions but they did not change much. The team from Cracow still struggled to cause any danger to Gostmoskis goal. In the 82nd minute the confident Lech set the result. Linietty passed to Hamalainen, the latter sent a ball to Lovrencsics and the Hungarian player beat Miśkiewicz with a strong shot.
